The River Thames is the longest river entirely in England and the second-longest in the United Kingdom (215 miles / 346 km), originating at Thames Head in Gloucestershire. It flows eastward through Oxford, Reading, Windsor, and London, before draining into the North Sea through the Thames Estuary.
